Now, according to the documentation, everything should run correctly with your sound after you reboot, maxxaudiio just be aware that everything will be muted by default. Is there any possibility?

I have the very same Dell Maxxaidio laptop and can’t get the subwoofer to work at all. Before you do any of this, make sure that the build-essential package is installed. I tried, but ended up with a lot of errors.
